Kenworth W900 Frame Horn Reinforcement Bracket

If you own a Kenworth W900 truck, then you are likely aware of their propensity to break off front frame horn ears. We are pleased to announce the release of our solution to that problem! With the great success of our Peterbilt frame horn reinforcement brackets, we decided offer a similar solution for our Kenworth W900 friends. This product provides an alternative repair means to replacing the expensive front frame horns/leaf spring hangers, as well as offers to serve as a preventative measure for the customers who still have fully intact frame horns. Our system works by capturing the existing, remaining frame horn mounting holes with our front main plate, and replaces the previously missing mounting holes. As well, our system addresses another pitfall of the factory design, that being that there is no support for the lower portion of the front bumper. Our kit utilizes a diagonal brace that spans, from the lowest flange of your bumper, to a slotted mounting hole on the side of the main bracket, allowing for more support and rigidity from bumpers ranging from 16″ to 20″. As with our Peterbilt Frame Horn Reinforcement Brackets, these kits come with multiple zip tie slots for attaching wires and hoses. Additionally, we have opted to incorporate four 3/4″ holes on the lower flange of our bracket, for those guys that wish to add some penny/dime lights or mini watermelon lights. These kits come with hardware for attaching the side bracketry as well as the lower bumper support brace. The factory bumper hardware will be reused for the remainder of the installation. These kits come powdercoated in a gloss black finish. For customers with aftermarket replacement bumper/grille guard combinations, the lower bumper support braces will not be utilized. These kits are currently only being offered in a 3/16″ steel variation, while we work on getting the 1/4″ “HD” brackets prototyped. Weight for this kit, in the 3/16″ variation, is 38lbs.

Please note that this is our very first version that we are offering to the public. We have taken into account all possible variations in these trucks that we have encountered and design these kits to accommodate all of them. HOWEVER, due to the extensive world of truck modifications and application specific truck accessories and steering setups, we do anticipate that there will most likely need to be revisions made to these kits over time, as we encounter these differences among trucks.
